The Mother( សរណមាតា)

Once upon a time, a wealthy man has two children, a son, and a daughter. Both children had to live by themselves after their parents passed away. The brother loved to take care of his sister like a father. When his sister grew up, he married him to a man. Then, she went to live with her husband. Later on, he also had a wife. After a while, the pregnant sister missed her brother. She wanted to go back to live with her brother. On the way to her brother's home, the couple went to pay their respects to the Buddha. When they arrived at the brother's house, they were delighted, friendly, and longing for each other. The husband trusted and allowed his wife to stay with her brother for a while. After some time, her sister-in-law was unhappy with her and wanted her beautiful diamond necklace. So, she played all the dirty tricks to get her husband to kill her as a younger sister. The husband believed his wife and planned to take his sister to murder in the forest. She was about to give birth at that time, so she prayed to the Buddha to let her deliver a healthy baby, and the angels there saved her. Her brother and her sister-in-law met their Karma.

បងប្អូនប្រុសស្រីជាកូនគហបតី២នាក់នៅជាមួយគ្នាបន្ទាប់ពីឪពុកម្តាយស្លាប់ទៅ។បងប្រុសស្រលាញ់មើលថែប្អូនស្រីខ្លាំងណាស់ប្រៀបបានជាឪពុក។ពេលធំពេញវ័យបងប្រុសបានរៀបការអោយប្អូនស្រីហើយនាងក៏ទៅនៅខាងប្តី ឯបងប្រុសក៏មានប្រពន្ធដូចគ្នា។កន្លងយូរទៅប្អូនស្រីមានផ្ទៃពោះក៏នឹករលឹកបងប្រុសអោយប្តីជូនទៅនៅជាមួយបងប្រុសខ្លួនវិញ។តាមផ្លូវទាំង២នាក់ប្តីប្រពន្ធឃើញព្រះសម្មាសម្ពុទ្ធក៏ចូលទៅគោរព។ពេលដល់ផ្ទះបងប្រុសពួកគេសប្បាយចិត្តណាស់រាក់ទាក់នឹករលឹកគ្នាធម្មតា ប្តីទុកចិត្តហើយផ្ញើប្រពន្ធនៅទីនោះ។យូរៗទៅបងថ្លៃស្រីនាងមិនពេញចិត្តនិងឃើញខ្សែកពេជ្ររបស់នាងស្អាតមានចិត្តចង់បានប្រើល្បិចគ្រប់យ៉ាងដើម្បីអោយប្តីខ្លួនសម្លាប់នាងជាប្អូន។ប្តីជឿប្រពន្ធក៏យកប្អូនទៅសម្លាប់នៅក្នុងព្រៃ ពេលនោះនាងក៏ជិតសម្រាលកូនហើយក៏រំលឹកគុណដល់ព្រះពុទ្ធជាម្ចាស់កូនកើតសុខសប្បាយហើយរុក្ខទេវតានៅទីនោះបានជួយសង្គ្រោះនាង។
